Some gardens we visit have limited or no access to the general public and security clearance is needed. We may ask for your passport number, which we pass on to an Embassy’s personnel. In cases where the paperwork requirements limit garden access for anyone, an alternate garden is always planned.


Our tours are carefully planned, but in Italy, and especially Rome, things happen. We must therefore reserve the right to make substitutions to any printed program according to events, contingencies, traffic and opportunities. If you reserved a scheduled tour because of the inclusion of a specific garden, please do let us know at the time of booking.
